Ticketmaster's president has admitted to "stuck transfers" following a ticket delivery failure last Friday, raising new concerns over the company's reliability. A separate report pointed to the disruption as proof the risk that comes with depending on a single ticketing platform.
The trouble comes as a reseller listing a Bruno Mars ticket said she was caught off guard by the fees Ticketmaster tacked onto her listed price. Rival SeatGeek, meanwhile, introduced a new tool called TourIQ, a predictive pricing tool aimed at live event sellers, making a case for itself as an option at a time when faith in Ticketmaster is slipping.
