Macklin Celebrini joined back the squad and found the back of the net during a narrow defeat to the Edmonton Oilers. The young attacker, after being out of action, appeared in the game with another youngster Will Smith, who also featured in the NHL. Even with the defeat, the Sharks saw a bright spot as Ivar Stenberg netted his first career NHL goal during a different match against the Boston Bruins.
